Strengthening Education Services In Upper Akkar
The project aims at identifying the possible causes of school failure in Upper Akkar and to reinforce teachers
Overall Objectives:
To strengthen education services in Upper Akkar by building the capacity of teachers to better assist students in order to reduce school dropout and school failure.
Activities:
Conducting an exhaustive field survey on factors of school failure and dropout in Jourd Al-Qayta region with a special focus on the situation of students with disability.
Developing a detailed database on education services in Upper Akkar, including situation analysis and needs assessment.
Implementing a capacity building training program for 60 teachers on methodologies specifically adapted to children
