The Knowledge Workshop (KW) is a feminist organization founded in 2015, an ongoing workshop for (re)searching local women’s stories and histories, and for creating and making accessible feminist resources. KW also works on engaging women at the grassroots level, and on connecting with feminist movements to ensure the continuity of feminist presence in the region. The KW has three primary tracks: the Feminist Library, a space that makes its books and resources open to the public, the Feminist School, an endeavor ambitious about the importance of investing in alternative learning and educational spaces from which organizers and critical activists can emerge, and the Storytellers Project, which centers on collecting, archiving, and publishing feminist oral history interviews. The Knowledge Workshop builds on the work of  Sawt al Niswa, the feminist collective and webspace. It is largely because of Sawt al Niswa, and the women who shaped it, that KW has become possible.
