Project Coordinator

Objective
Under the overall supervision of KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation’s director, the project coordinator is responsible for delivering program’s goals and objectives, specified and agreed in the projects.
Scope of the assignment
The Project Coordinator will be responsible of the following:
- In collaboration with KAFA’s director, provide technical leadership related to project design and development, planning implementation, and overall project management of the assigned program;
- Oversee the implementation of the projects, ensuring a standard of quality in all aspects of the projects;
- Form a strong collaboration with the partner organizations, which includes signing written agreements that outline the projects’ parameters and expectations among the partners and appropriate officials representing each of them;
- Coordinate, prepare and distribute resident activities and schedules to staff;
- Monitor and document evaluation process;
- Organize monitoring field visits;
- To be the main contact person for all communication including the donors and local authorities and stakeholders;
- Allocation of duties for the efficiency and success of the project;
- Conduct and document regular team meetings for planning and reporting purposes;
- Assist the Financial Team in projects’ budgets;
- To prepare and send monthly project progress report and any report as requested by donors;
- To monitor project progress and implementation, facilitation of monitoring and evaluation missions;
- To ensure timely delivery of all project targets and outputs as required;
- Ensure all internal and external narrative reports are of good quality and completed on time, promoting good understanding about projects with donors, other sectors, partners, and communities.
- Attend the workshops and trainings when asked for;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by KAFA’s director.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills including good coordination and effective working relations with stakeholders.
- Ability to lead teams and mentor staff.
- Experience with vulnerable populations, including immigrant and refugee populations and SGBV survivors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently.
- Experience working with refugee populations in emergency response context a plus.
- Excellent planning and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
