Lebanon has been active in Lebanon since 2006 as a response for the Israeli attack on Lebanon to support the Lebanese people who were affected by war. At the end of 2011, Islamic Relief

Responded to the Syrian crisis after the flow of Syrian refugees to Lebanon. Since 2011 up to

2015, IRL has been supporting people affected by the conflict in Syria including Syrian refugees,

Lebanese returnees and Palestinian refugees.

Project’s context:

Hilane is a local Lebanese authority, located in the  Zgharta district – Northern Lebanon

The proposed project incorporates the completion of the construction work and equipping of Hilane Primary School. 

Hilane School will be a public school and where Islamic relief will complete the construction work and provide all the education equipment, then IRL will donated to the community through the ministry of education.

The school building consists of three floors.

1. The basement consists of an indoor and outdoor playground, administration office, teachers’ room, bathroom and kitchen.

2. The first floor consists of 8 rooms; 7 classrooms, 1 technology center and 14 bathrooms; 2 of them are designed for children with special needs.

3. The second floor consists of 8 classrooms, 1 conference room and 2 bathrooms for children with special needs.

The school will accommodate 200 children from Syrian and host communities in which a significant number were dropped out school children since they were not able to continue their enrolment in other schools for the transportation reasons and economic reasons.

The school will take into consideration the children with disabilities to open the opportunity for their inclusion in schools with the appropriate equipment.

Requirements:

Islamic relief Lebanon desires to complete the construction of Hilani school located in Zgarat – North Lebanon. 

Companies that are interested in entering this bid are requested to receive the bidding booklet from the Islamic relief office in Lebanon.

The final deadline to take the booklet and place your offer is Thursday 08-03-2018. The bid should be placed in a closed enveloped sealed with the company’s logo on the front of the envelope.

Please note:

1. Only high profile companies are required to submit to this bid.

2. 5 good references with name and number should be submitted with the proposal

3. A meeting would take place with the representatives of the companies submitting to this bid before giving the final approval.

4. Currency in Lebanese pounds and the exchange rate is 1$=1500 LBP.
