The PRP Field Officer organises and coordinates in cooperation with the project manager physical rehabilitation assistance across Lebanon. Participates in the physical rehabilitation processes and care with national clinicians and associations representing people with disabilities. Manages and updates patient files and treatment records, coordinates with the different academic institutions and follows up various social inclusion activities.
Main responsibilities
Participates in the multidisciplinary consultations for patient assessments and treatment prescriptions with the national clinicians and/or associations.
Follow up social integration project such as wheelchair basketball and micro economic support.
Keeps in touch with the physical rehabilitation sector, association and authorities
Contributes in internal ICRC reporting
Organises and Coordinates assessments and treatment appointments with national clinicians and associations
Monitors patients progresses
Follow-ups discharged patients
Updates patient lists, files and treatment records
Keeps up to date with new clinical techniques and technology available for rehabilitation
Profile
Registered Physiotherapist
University degree in Physiotherapy
3 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar field is an asset
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
Academic experience is an asset in Physiotherapy
Excellent computer skills
Good analytical skills
Proven communication skills.
Fluent in Arabic and English; French an asset
Start of work: ASAP
Working base: Based in Bekaa with field visits throughout the country.
