Ø Job Brief:
The M&E Manager is part of the senior management team that is entrusted with supporting and overseeing HOPe activities. M&E Manager is responsible to lead and support monitoring and evaluation activities (writing reports, field interviews, focus groups). Also, M&E Manager is entrusted in following up the development of HOPe analysis papers and events.
Ø Responsibilities:
- Monitoring activities:
- Applying and developing internal monitoring procedures to ensure transparent and equal relationship with local partners (e.g. feedback and complains system).
- Ensuring proper and timely data collection and documentation of HOPe activities by all officers and managers as elaborated in the M&E plan.
- Collecting and archiving reports delivered by officers and managers, and finalising HOPe narrative reports.
- Evaluation activities:
- Ensuring proper and timely application of evaluation activities as elaborated in the M&E plan.
- Analysing baseline and endline assessments conducted by HOPe team.
- Leading project impact evaluation activities (interviews, focus groups and field visits) with HOPe partners and network of local community groups.
- Synthesizing lessons learnt, success stories and recommendations of best practices developed by HOPe team and partners
- Research:
- Leading team meetings to consolidate findings from conducted Social Peace workshops and conflict sensitivity trainings.
- Assisting the development of “Their Voices” papers with other consultants, researchers and designers (when needed).
- Organizing roundtable events to develop, discuss and disseminate HOPe papers.
- Communication:
- Assisting in contacting local and international partners, especially UN cluster meetings.
- Providing all necessarily information to team members to produce internal and external materials such as media materials.
Ø Requirements and qualifications:
· Good spirit.
· Bachelor Degree with research experience (MA, MSc preferred).
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in humanitarian programs.
· Perfect command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
· Notable time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in partnership with local communities and NGOs.
· Teamwork and cooperative attitude.
· Problem solving and communication skills.
· Good computing skills.
· Additional requirement for non-Lebanese nationals: permit of residence in Lebanon is required.
