Supporting Palestinians Suffering From Mental Illnesses
HCS supports Palestinians suffering from mental and neurological diseases with monthly medications. These medications are extremely expensive. More than 50 beneficiaries are helped monthly by this project.
Overall Objectives:
Medications are very expensive and this project helps to relief some of the burden of the cost of medication.
Activities:
As before patients fill applications at the appointed centres in the camps. Medical reports and prescriptions from a specialized doctor are required. We contracted with a pharmacy in Beirut to provide us monthly with the medications needed. HCS staff asks regularly for new prescriptions and up dated medical reports to monitor the patient health status and to make sure he is taking the right medications.
