Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential beneficiaries to the relevant project as per the set criteria
  • File all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, minutes of meetings, and evaluation documents.
  • Conduct home visits to vulnerable individuals, assess their needs and engage with their family members and caregivers, develop, implement and follow up on action plans.
  • With their informed consent, refer the beneficiaries to appropriate available services (mental health, PSS, medical supplies etc.) and facilitate their inclusion in their community.
  • At all times, ensure the safety and respect of beneficiaries, their effective inclusion in activities, in addition to the confidentiality of their information and their right to access services without any discrimination;
  • File and store the beneficiaries data as directed by project officer; ensure the utmost confidentiality of cases, data and information;
  • File and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting are taking place while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Other tasks as directed by the line manager

 

Coordination and planning

  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly work plans in a timely manner with validation from the Project Officer’s;
  • Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools and report on challenges in the implementation of the project;
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, community leaders and service providers;
  • Actively contribute to the maintenance of an up-to-date service mapping of the service providers operating in the area of implementation;
  • In collaboration with the project officer, receive and send referrals, develop an action plan and appropriate response to each case. Ensure that informed consent/assent is taken before opening a case file.
  • In collaboration with the Project officer, attend case conferences with relevant key actors when needed;

 

Other: Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Project Officer or by the Project manager.

 

Experience and technical competencies: 

  • 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and hard situations
  • Meet deadlines and set timing for team’s  follow up
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Ability to work in a multi-professional team while remaining within his or her area of ​​expertise
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Protect the best interest of the beneficiaries.
  • Good knowledge of protection, GBV and CP case management principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination, safety and inclusion of the beneficiaries at all times
  • Good communications and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
