"Women of Lebanon and Revolution" Art Competition

Fe-Male is pleased to launch an art competition titled "Women of Lebanon and Revolution" within the framework of the regional project "Art of Equality" which is implemented in partnership with the Swedish Institute.

You can enter this competition by proposing artistic products that reflect the role, position, image and challenges of women related to the October 17, 2019 Lebanese revolution. The competition welcomes various artistic proposals such as: videos, songs, poems, documentaries, theater, Photography projects or any other form of artwork. The artworks submitted should challenge gender stereotypes and promote ​​gender equality.

The winners will receive financial awards for production as well as an opportunity to participate and showcase their work in a regional ceremony that will be held in Jordan during the month of March 2020 for the occasion of International Women's Day, which includes the presentation of other winning products from Lebanon, Yemen and Jordan.
