Field Coordinator (Akkar)

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct a need assessment for identified beneficiaries
• Organization of the training sessions, workshops, events, and meetings with project stakeholders.
• Conduct awareness sessions on the cooperative work and the value chain approach for identified beneficiaries
• Support the Lebanese Association for Fair Trade Producers (LAFTP)
• Support research on the selected vegetables value chains
• Support the identified beneficiaries in certification process
• Support the identified beneficiaries to access local markets
• Daily field visits to farmers’ fields for consultations and advice
• Update regularly the project data on beneficiaries

Deliverables

• Monthly reports
• Regular updates about the mapping of potential access to local market
• Evaluation report about the identified beneficiaries progress status
• Other deliverables requested by the project coordinator

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture 
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Development, Agriculture and/or rural development projects
• Strong documentation, research and report writing skills
