The UK Government has provided up to GBP 20 million grant from the Department for International Development (“DFID”) to be channelled through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “EBRD” or the “Bank”) for priority infrastructure investments in Lebanon.
The objective is to create sustainable infrastructure and services, attain environmental and social sustainability, achieve financial and budgetary sustainability and gradually transition towards an energy efficient, low carbon economy. The DFID Contribution, will be used for Technical Cooperation and CapEx Grants.
