Purchase of a full range of design/layout, e-design and video production services from a qualified graphic designer for Diakonia IHL Resource Desk’s publications including specific IHL reports and information material during June until December 2018.

Diakonia IHL Resource Desk at the Diakonia Lebanon Office is aiming to purchase design/layout services from a qualified graphic designer during 2018. The looked-for services necessitate designing of specific IHL reports and information material produced by the IHL Resource Desk throughout the remainder of the year 2018 for publications purposes amongst other related services. Diakonia is tendering to receive best price rates and quality of services from graphic designers that comply with Diakonia’s procurement principles, allocated budget as well as Diakonia’s branding guidelines.

Diakonia is procuring for an evaluation according to this Terms of Reference and invitation sent to tender. The price as well as qualitative aspects will be handled with the priority presented henceforth.

The selection of the provider will be determined by the evaluation criteria sorted in priority. Diakonia has decided to weight criteria according to the following; qualitative aspect 55% and price 45%.

Publications specifications:

The following specifications of the items listed below are general specifications to form an assessment of publications prices.

Reports, legal briefs, fact sheets, Expert Opinions, leaflets, book marks, folders, roll-up posters, and E-invitations.

Specifications:

  • Reports: A4, approximately 32 pages with the cover. (for digital disbursement only)
  • Legal Briefs: Paper size A4, 20 pages+ cover, colored. Inside pages weight: 170 gm, cover weight: 300 gm. (for digital disbursement only)
  • Fact Sheets: Paper size: A4, colored, 1 page. (for print or digital disbursement)
  • Expert Opinion: Paper Size: A4, Pages number (16 and 32), black and white (for digital disbursement only)
  • Leaflets: Paper size: A4, PDF (for digital disbursement only).
  • Booklets/manuals: Paper size: 10*15 cm, 48 pages+ cover colored, can be up to 120 pages. (for digital disbursement and/or print disbursement)
  • Bookmarks: Size: 20*5 cm, cardboard paper of weight 350 gm, colored, matt lamination, (for print disbursement only).
  • Folders: Paper size: A4, Paper weight: 350 gm, colored, Bie cut, inside pocket, Matt lamination. (for print disbursement only)
  • Roll-Up: Size: 85cm by 200 cm, price of design for one unit. (for print disbursement only)
  • E-Invitations: Layout, standard invitation size including pictures and texts, PDF format.

The listed items are requested to be provided in web purposes PDF version.

Diakonia Lebanon Office is requesting a price sheet for each of the items listed above. The contracts will then be made on a piece by piece basis, but the prices must be valid for six months i.e. 15 June 2018 until 30 December 2018. The estimated cost of the item will be confirmed in each contract before the design work begins. The consultant will work in coordination with the Program Officer to ensure timely delivery of the design. Follow up sessions for editing and documentation will be conducted as appropriate. The consultant will develop a workable timeline and work schedule for each design request in consultation with the Program Officer.
