DELIVERABLES

The program is seeking for the services of a consultant with expertise to develop a new monitoring system for the child sex trafficking project with Dar Al Amal. In coordination with the Humanitarian Program Officer, the consultant is expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Conduct the necessary background research and follow-ups for the project
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of action for a new monitoring system
  • Review the existing monitoring system implemented by Dar Al Amal in two centers
  • Update existing system in correspondence with core humanitarian standards
  • Develop new system and new tools to match with the children and centers needs
  • Introduce staff to new/amended system and train staff accordingly

The consultant will receive the content from Diakonia accompanied with the Core Humanitarian Standards manual and the Diakonia Child Safeguarding Policy.

TIMEFRAME

The consultant will develop a workable timeline and work schedule in consultation with the Humanitarian Program Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in, Development Programs, International Project Management or any relevant field.
  • Experience in monitoring, information management,data collection and evaluation for international projects/donors/organizations, development projects, preferably in the humanitarian/social development / or refugee assistance fields.
  • Child protection / Core Humanitarian standards/Complaint Mechanism
  • Professional working knowledge of English and Arabic is required.
  • Excellent coordination and team work skills.
