Job Description

Generations For Peace (GFP) is seeking proposals from experienced filmmakers based in Lebanon to film GFP community events for EU funded project – Madad in November, December and January.

 

Background:

GFP is a leading global non-profit peace-building organization founded by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein of Jordan in 2007. Dedicated to sustainable conflict transformation at the grassroots, GFP empowers volunteer leaders of youth to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities experiencing different forms of conflict and violence. Carefully-facilitated sport-based games, art, advocacy, dialogue and empowerment activities provide an entry point to engage children, youth and adults, and a vehicle for integrated education and sustained behavioural change.

 

Location:

Filming will take place in several cities in Lebanon.

The candidate must be based in Lebanon (no international travel will be provided).

 

Style and Equipment:

The videographer will film community events, steady shots and b-rolls before, during and after the event are needed.

Two cameras (5D Mark III/VI, C100/300, Sony a7s II/III or similar) are needed.

Good sound equipment (Sennheiser 112 wireless mic and MKH 416 boom or similar) are needed. 

 

Timeline:

GFP suggests the following as a time frame:

Contract signed: November 2018

Filming days and dates: 6-8 filming days (November to January)
