Delta Lebanese Association For Development, Education And Training

Delta association is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization, free from political, religion, gender and ethnic divisions, committed to the International human rights law and international humanitarian law and abide by their provisions.Strives to strengthen its role as a networking facilitator among various actors collecting civil society organizations and relevant local authorities through empowering them, developing their capacities, connecting them with relevant official authorities and potential donors in order to be able to achieve development in line with identified needs of the targeted region.
Mission:  To inspire lifelong education, to advance knowledge based on human rights approaches, and to strengthen community development.
Focus Areas:

A- Development:

Community capacity development is a fundamental part of the mandates of Delta association. Delta aims to strengthen community capacities as a major development deviser in Aley and Chouf districts through incubating projects, setting development plans, building capacities of local actors that implies a focus on the existing capacities and how these capacities can become strengthened on all levels – the individual, the organizational and the institutional and searching for resources based on a high participatory approach.

B- Youth:

Delta focuses on determining youth needs and contributes in providing solutions; addresses their issues at the local and national levels through lobbying their needs; engages them in community development through building their capacities and influencing decision makers to develop relevant plans that tackle youth problems through prevention, support and follow-up.
