MEAL Assistant
About the job
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be working under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. She/he will be responsible of communicating M&E information, gathering data from the field staff, follow up on activities and reporting. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Organize and conduct monitoring visits with DRC beneficiaries and to DRC program sites;
• Assist the MEAL Manager carry out the daily/weekly/monthly work plan;
• Assist the MEAL Manager with administrative and logistic requirements of the M&E Team;
• Ensure monitoring schedule, data collection targets, and reporting deadlines are adhered to;
• Assist with all other duties as required by the MEAL Manager.
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have Bachelor degree/ in social sciences, humanities, quantitative/qualitative research methods, public health, or related field OR high school diploma with significant professional experience, or another related field
Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience – preferably in social work, community development, non-government, and/or outreach organizations;
• Good knowledge of local context and community in the Bekaa and South areas;
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access required;
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and a strong team spirit;
• Self-motivated and organized with a demonstrated capacity to manage time and personal work plan;
• Experience working with communities, families and individuals with special needs;
• Experience using survey and/or database software and tools
• Fluency (native speaker) in written and spoken Arabic, good written and spoken English

We offer
- Contract length: 6 months until 31st August 2019
- Level: B1, Monthly Basic Salary USD 1250.
- Duty Station: Bekaa-Saida
- Start date: 1st March 2019
