Development Manager
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point-of-contact between departments
• Lead day-to-day management of projects
• Effectively manage teams of diverse personalities
• Collect and disseminate project information
• Coordinate multiple projects at a time
• Problem-solve issues and implement process to improve workflow.
• Be familiar enough with campaigns and creative assets to identify holes and correct possible issues
• Ensure jobs are opened in timely manner and all teams have the necessary information to complete
• Track progress of jobs and enforce project deadlines along the way
• Record all jobs for archiving purposes and follow up to ensure all projects were accurately completed
• Facilitate meetings
• Manage grants and donor relations and reporting (narrative report, financial report, monitoring and evaluation)
• Write and researching for grants, donors, and sponsorships
• Project management (Following up with operational plan to make sure tasks are completed, writing reports and follow ups)
• Minimal finance management
• Ability to wear many hats and take on new responsibilities when needed
Applicants must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in international development, business, economics, management, or political science
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• 2-3 years experience in NGO Management
• Experience in grant writing, management, and donor relations
• Experience in project management
• Donor relations and reporting
• Demonstrated interest and passion in working for a social cause and community betterment
• Communication and problem solving skills
• Team and project management, organized and proactive personality
• Research Skills
• Strong interest in the fashion design industry
• Willingness to work overtime at times (Fashion shows, open houses, exhibitions…)
Preference may be given to applicants who have:
• A Master’s Degree
• Demonstrated knowledge of fashion design management
• Experience with donor communication
• Social skills and outgoing personality
• Willingness to attend events and represent Creative Space Beirut
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 10am-6pm at the organization’s office in Beirut Souks, with approved national holidays off and standard vacation and sick leave. The applicant will be registered in NSSF by the organization.
