Under The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs  ‘Addressing Root Causes’ (ARC) fund, four members of Alliance 2015(ACTED, Concern, Hivos and Chesvi) have secured the funds to implement range of livelihoods related training activities and have developed a project in close collaboration with MoSA and Social Development Centers’ across Lebanon. This project aims to address the root causes of conflict and migration, as well as, empower both Lebanese and Syrians through promoting skill development opportunities to increase their livelihood capabilities by strengthening the sectors of Construction, agriculture and Green Jobs.

This call is specifically for the fresh graduates with enthusiastic and disciplined personality to operationalize career counselling centres at 8 locations in Akkar and T-5. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend two training workshops over the period of 15 days. After each workshop assessment will be carried out to evaluate best participants for the assignment. Training course is certified.

 

  • An individual with minimum 14 years of education. 
  • Excellent command on Arabic and good understanding of English
  • An individual who is a self-starter, enthusiastic, committed to invest in the capabilities of youth, good skills to network
  • An individual who is willing to travel or resident of Akkar and T-5.
  • An individual with excellent  communication and writing skill in Arabic with working English language skill.
  • An individual who is self-motivated and has ability to adopt and manage his/her own work.
  • Duties and responsibilities:

  • Selected individuals will be expected to provide awareness sessions to multiple job seekers over the period of 6 months. Individuals are expected to work 15 days a month.
  • Implement trainings in Akkar and T-5 at identified locations.
  • Conduct all baseline and end line surveys including final test for the certification.
  • Prepare Procurement lists for trainings and organize trainings
  • Administrative responsibilities and program tasks as identified by Livelihoods program manager and capacity building officer.
