COrg: Connecting Passion with Purpose

Mission:

COrg's mission is to empower both talented individuals and the Lebanese NGO sector by acting as a bridge for recruitment. They aim to connect passionate individuals driven to make a social impact with NGOs seeking skilled and dedicated professionals.

Vision:

COrg envisions a thriving Lebanese social sector fueled by a strong and well-matched workforce. They believe that by facilitating efficient and effective recruitment, NGOs can achieve their goals more effectively, leading to a greater positive impact on society.

Objectives:

  1. Streamline NGO recruitment: COrg simplifies the recruitment process for NGOs by providing a centralized platform for candidate sourcing, screening, and placement. This reduces the burden on individual NGOs and allows them to focus on their core mission.
  2. Connect talent with purpose: COrg aims to identify individuals passionate about social change and connect them with NGOs that align with their values and skills. This ensures a strong fit between candidates and organizations, leading to higher job satisfaction and reduced turnover.
  3. Foster a skilled NGO workforce: By focusing on quality placements, COrg helps NGOs build a skilled and experienced workforce. This contributes to the overall effectiveness and impact of the social sector in Lebanon.

Sector of Work (SDGs):

COrg operates within the social and development sector, specifically contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By facilitating effective recruitment, COrg promotes decent work opportunities for individuals passionate about social change. Additionally, their focus on building a skilled NGO workforce indirectly contributes to several other SDGs, such as:

  • SDG 1: No Poverty: By strengthening the social sector, COrg can help NGOs address poverty-related issues more effectively.
  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being: Skilled NGOs play a crucial role in delivering healthcare and other essential services to vulnerable populations.
  • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities: A robust NGO sector can help address social inequalities by providing support and opportunities to marginalized communities.

Overall, COrg acts as a catalyst for positive social change in Lebanon by connecting the right people with the right NGOs.
