Chemonics International, an international development firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks technical, operations, and administrative specialists for the USAID/Lebanon Community Support Program. This multi-year project aims to support municipalities and underserved and vulnerable communities in providing better services and enhanced economic opportunities to improve lives and reduce tensions that contribute to conflict and violence in Lebanon. We are seeking individuals for a range of positions who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people in Lebanon and around the world.

  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Director/Manager - Responsible for leading project-wide monitoring, data collection, measuring, and reporting, and ensures learning occurs throughout implementation.
  • Regional (North, Bekaa, South) Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Field Officers - Responsible for activity monitoring, data collection, and gathering contextual information in target region; reports to the MEL director.
  • Project Operations Specialists (mid and junior level) - Responsible for overall office management and assisting to operationalize the program’s technical activities.  
  • Human Resources Specialists - Responsible for overseeing recruitment and hiring processes, compliance with applicable labor law, and supporting general staff well-being.
  • Accountant/Accounting Assistant – Oversees or supports project accounting and ensures all financial systems follow Chemonics and USAID policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Grants & Subcontracts Management (mid and junior level) - Ensures grants and subcontracts are issued expeditiously and in compliance with all rules and regulations in coordination with technical team members.
  • Procurement Manager/Assistant - Supports the operations team to ensure procurements are conducted expeditiously and in compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Field Officers (North, Bekaa, and South) - Supports activity prioritization and design in target regions in close coordination with local partners and communities. Will be based in the Northern, Bekaa, or Southern region.
  • Drivers – Responsible for safely driving project staff to locations inside and outside Beirut and ensuring assigned vehicles are in working condition at all times.
