About the USAID-funded Lebanon Community Support Program (CSP)
The Lebanon Community Support Program (CSP) is a seven-year project funded by USAID to support municipalities and underserved and vulnerable communities in providing better services and enhanced economic opportunities to improve lives and reduce tensions that contribute to conflict and violence, primarily in Lebanon’s North, South, and Beqaa regions.

Objective of the EOI

Under the workforce development activity (CSP Task Order No. 4), CSP is supporting for-profit and not-for-profit organizations to improve their human resources (HR) systems, staff recruitment, in-house training programs, and staff retention systems by offering focused and customized technical assistance in the following three areas:

1. HR systems and staff recruitment and retention: Help employers improve recruitment and in-house training systems and processes. Examples of support include but are not limited to: Assisting in building up HR departments, modernizing or otherwise improving recruitment processes and the use of recruitment platforms, developing procedures and processes to train employees, and creating strategies to retain qualified employees.
2. Internship program development: Help employers develop a structured and effective in-house internship program.
3. Identification and placement of interns within organization: Help employers identify skilled interns who graduated from CSP-supported technical and vocational education and training (TVET) schools.

CSP welcomes submissions from organizations interested in receiving assistance related to the above. Priority will be given to companies that employ staff in the following sectors:

1. Maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery
2. Home-based health care services
3. Technology and information and communications technology (ICT)
