About Chabibeh:
Chabibeh Sporting Club is a sports and youth organization, working towards the development and empowerment of the youth through a holistic approach using non formal education tools and sports.
Our sports department offers the youth the opportunity to develop several skills such as coordination, healthy lifestyle, teamwork, responsibility, competitive spirit, mindfulness through their weekly sports activities, friendly tournaments, and summer camp, allowing them to uncover their potential and capabilities.
Also our youth department helps the youth develop life skills, broaden their perspectives and enables them to become active citizens and leaders by engaging them in youth initiatives, self development workshops, and offering them the opportunity to participate in Erasmus Plus Youth projects in Europe and Meda countries.
About this year's program: Youth 4 Change
Youth 4 Change is a 4 months program targeting teenagers between the ages of 12 to 18 with aim to broaden the youth's perspectives and potential.
The program will include the following sessions:
- Setting foundation/Team building
- Personal Identity/Searching for common ground
- Healthy Lifestyle
- Volunteering
- Safety and Social Media
- Life Skills and Career
- Xenophobia
- Intercultural Learning
- Evaluation
And 3 youth initiatives to be done by the youth throughout the program
About the Volunteering Opportunity - Mentors
We are sending a call to recruit 8 mentors for this year. Mentors are youth leaders, aged between 21 and 26 who strive for their self development to empower society around them. A training will be offered for the mentors to support them in their role.
Mentors responsibility will be to follow up on the learning process of the youth and to support them in their youth initiatives
