The CLDH, which provides a legal support to victims of arbitrary detention, has noticed that these detainees suffer from their detention and from an insufficient legal counselling.
In general there is a lack of knowledge about the Human rights protection mechanisms on the national and international level among Lebanese lawyers. It is also very difficult to find volunteer lawyers who accept to get involved in the defense of arbitrary detention victims.
In order to remedy this situation, the CLDH will organize training sessions in several regions in Lebanon on the arbitrary detention issue.

Overall Objectives:
- Improve lawyers
