POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Reporting Coordinator manages the Reporting Unit and directly supervises its staff members. He/she ensures that all reporting across the department follows internal SoPs and applies high quality standards, following donors’ reporting requirement and submission deadlines. Overall, she/he will improve the quality of reports, harmonize procedures, centralise data, and inform the design of new project, whilst providing advocacy support.
DUTIES:
- Manage and supervise the Reporting Unit
- Develop clear strategic goals and reporting SoPs for the unit, and amend accordingly to evolving needs
- Develop reporting tools, tailored to the specific requirements of each donor
- Provide guidance on internal reporting standards to all PCs and projects’ staff
- Ensure the submission of reports and data in a timely manner and in close coordination with the Grants Management Unit
- Capacitate CL staff on data collection, trends identification, data analysis, and reporting tools usage
- Analyse the data collected from all projects to identify gaps
- Contribute to the design of project proposals to ensure that proper systems are put in place to ensure quality reporting
- Attend all Inter-agency, UN, NGO meetings related to information managements and data analysis to ensure coordination with UN agencies, partners, and NGO forums
- Drive forward the development of improved systems related to reporting mechanisms and data collection
- Support CL refugees department in strategy development through well-informed analysis relating to trends and data

- Excellent written English
- Technical expertise regarding data collection, data analysis, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, collate and analyse large amounts of data
- Research skills and ability to work accurately with attention to details
- Maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of donor and other stakeholders to meet or exceed their expectations
- Ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary
- Excellent time management skills; attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks by assessing situations to determine urgency
- Disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Computer Skills
- Microsoft office applications required for daily use
- Software applications required for periodic operations
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in reporting/administration/project coordination.
