OBJECTIVE
The Operations Support Coordinator is responsible for management and coordination of the Refugees department technical and operational implementation of the projects in the areas of Bekaa, Mount Lebanon, South and North.
His role is to ensure the smooth implementation of projects and activities in terms of logistics, management of staff, monitoring operations and security procedures on the field.
DUTIES
- Report to the Head of the Refugees department
- Manage the field and shelter coordinators of ML, South and North operating centers and shelters
- Manage the operations of the Refugees department projects
- Facilitate the coordination of the regions with HQ for logistics, IT, procurement, communication etc…
- Directly manage teams
- Monitor and ensure proper implementation and compliance with CL policies and procedures of the refugees projects
- Monitor and follow up centers activities schedules
- Follow up with the financial controller regarding non-compliance of payments with CL policies and procedures
- Monitor and ensure that field requests are relevant to the needs
- Follow up with FCs on staff related issues and conflicts
- Managing in-kind distributions
- Monitoring Cash/checks requests and expenditures
- Close follow up with the communication department regarding visibility of the centers and activities
- Follow up on outreach activities locations with relevant departments
- Involved with the recruitment of new staff of the Refugees department
- Ensure proper implementation of the shelters SOPs
- Follow up with the upcoming renovations of both shelters
- Follow up on assessments of rehabilitation works needed for all centers and ensure proper execution
- Support staff in assigned project based work
- Ensure with the field coordinators that proper documentation, archiving and filing of data and social files are constantly updated
- Monitoring the inventories and stock of all centers
- Receive and accompany donors to field visits
- Ensure proper and accountable implementation
- Other duties as assigned by Head of the Refugees department

ACADEMIC EDUCATION
BA in Business Management or Operations Management
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience
- Experience working with Refugees and other groups
