OBJECTIVE:
The Logistics Assets Officer is responsible for planning, tracking and managing the portfolio of the organizational assets in a sustainable and cost effective management.
DUTIES:
- Maintain an efficient inventory system for the fixed assets, attractive controlled assets and non-attractive items
- Ensure that all assets request forms are accurately handled
- Assure effective follow up on all transfer records physically and on dynamics
- Follow up and keep records on damaged/lost items
- Keep logs and records of assets stock in accurate orders
- Assist the Logistics Manager in collecting and compiling monthly logistics report related to assets
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain an efficient inventory system for the fixed assets, attractive controlled assets and non-attractive items.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus
