Description: 
  • Consult, assess, coordinate and implement a plan for intervention to ensure the psychological, social, and physical well-being of the refugee and host community members through confidential documentation
  • Follow up on the cases referred by the facilitators of the peace education sessions
  • Advise the team on the appropriate ways to respond, manage and/or refer specific cases and coordinate with them on the most effective ways to deal with the referred child during the sessions
  • Coordinate with the facilitators to assist organising and providing individualand/or group psychosocial support sessions with the referred child
  • Provide case management and referrals to specialized organizations and health facilities as well as legal and education service providers, according to the specific needs of individual cases
  • Participate in capacity building training related to the area of operations and the scope of the protection programmes
  • Provide information to service-seekers on existing social, educational and health services and how to access them within their area of residence
  • Manage data recording and organisation, and submit monthly reports, concerning the implemented outreach activities, case observation and identification, progress in each case, referrals, focal points meetings and related challenges
  • Follow-up with the caregivers of the children and youths in the project to support them and give them advice
  • Conduct focused group sessions with children when needed
  • Conduct caregiver support sessions when needed
  • Conduct information sessions with caregivers when needed
  • Assist the facilitators during the sessions when needed
