An agreement was signed with OSF, this project aims to enhance protection of the safety, dignity and fundamental rights of persons at risks through community based empowerment activities. B&Z aims to do so by strengthening community initiatives to address protection issues at stake for refugees and most vulnerable persons in one of the most marginalized area in Beirut, Nabaa.

Following the agreement 20 trainee will be selected and will have successfully completed the refugee legal empowerment training and have the necessary skills and knowledge to assist the targeted group, the overall training will be divided into 12 training sessions.
A verbal and written test will be conducted and based on the test result 6 trainees will be selected to continue as community facilitator for remaining period of the project.

Selection criteria for trainees:

1. Legal or social or human rights background 
2. Previously worked within the humanitarian context 
3. knowledge of the refugee’s context in Lebanon 
4. familiar with legal challenges facing refugee’s/host community 
5. strong communication skills including ability to gain trust and build relationship with new communities
6. Previous experience in delivering group sessions and interaction skills.
7. Knowledge of tablet usage and data collection programs  
8. Ability to work in a team.
