Overall Objectives: 
The project primary aims the protection of the environment and the development of the 8 villages (Assia, Bchaaleh, Boqsmaya, Chabtine, Kfarhay, Kour, Sourat, Zane) in Batroun through the development and implementation of an integrated plan for ecotourism and rural partnership and cooperation with the local community.
Activities: 
First goal: to create a joint comity of the project including representatives from all the villages that will have its base in one of the 8 villages to follow up and manage the project after training them and equipping them to do so. Expected results: 1. The formation of a group of volunteers from each village to follow up and manage the project. 2. Training of volunteers on the methods of marketing for each product in the town through the town s mail. 3. Training of volunteers in the joint body on the concept of environmental tourism and how to regulate the activities of eco-tourism, rural and how secure the services required by the eco-tourism activities such as insurance services accommodation in homes (Bed & Breakfast). 4. Providing the comity with the necessary equipment for the project management: computers, maps and GPS devices. Second goal: the rehabilitation of infrastructure in the villages to regulate environmental tourism activities such as the establishment of a center to receive visitors, rehabilitation and development indicative and informative billboards on the foot trails of the villages. Expected results: 1. The rehabilitation of 10 km of foot trails in the village for use in the eco-tourism activities. 3. The establishment of a center to receive visitors (4 x 4 meters) that will be built at the entrance to the villages to receive all groups visiting the region. The third goal: Develop a comprehensive plan for ecotourism and rural development in the targeted villages including a comprehensive survey of the potential environmental and rural tourism, detailed maps of the village in addition to the plan for the protection and sustainable forestry resources. Expected results: 1. Detailed maps of each attraction sites in the targeted villages. 2. A plan for the protection and sustainable forest wealth cooperation between the associations involved in the project. 3. Leaflets and posters for the draft environmental tourism in the grouping used for marketing objectives. Fourth goal: to highlight the villages targeted as sites of rural tourism at the national level through the creation of an electronic site for each village to be administered by members of the comity. Expected results: 1. Creating a web site for each village for the management and promotion of rural tourism and environmental activities on local and national level on the main website of Baldati www.baldati.com .
