  • In coordination with the outreach team, conduct outreach activities to reach out to parents, caregivers and children in order to enroll them in NFE or formal education (regular continuous outreach, BTS etc.).
  • Collect data of all the information regarding the child placement and follow up tests and other information related to the project activities.
  • Open the center at least 30 min before the beginning of the activities. In the absence of teachers, to be responsible for the children inside the center.
  • Identify and refer of the administrative/logistic needs of the centers to the Center coordinator (Maintenance, material, need of rehabilitations, etc..)
  • Guarantee the correct functioning of the transportation and snack service, and delivery of any learning material by:
  • Preparing the bus lists following the outreach lists and share it with logistics
  • Verifying the children benefitting of the transportation service with the list provided to the driver and update the bus lists.
  • Ensuring the daily communication with bakeries concerning the number of snacks needed
  • Collecting and verifying, on a daily basis, the attendance of children and the number of snacks delivered and distributed
  • Acting, where possible, as bus monitors (in absence of them)
  • Reporting any issue concerning snacks and transportation to the supervisor
  • Control regularly the timesheets of teachers and bus drivers and submit them to the supervisor in the last day of activities in each month.
  • Following up regularly the activities in the centers by using the tools provided in the project and prepare weekly technical report with the education specialist and supervisor.
  • Identification of children with special needs/ cases of abuse and referral to case managers
  • Suggest and plan, in collaboration with animators, extra curriculum activities to be implemented inside or outside the learning spaces.
  • Perform activities inside the center in the case of the absence of some teacher
  • Participate in project staff training with other AVSI staff
  • Perform other duties within areas of responsibility as requested by the supervisor
