  1. Context

AVSI is an Italian NGO working in Lebanon since 1996, registered with the Ministry of Interior in 2006 under decree nb. 171194. Since 2013, AVSI and UNICEF have worked together, with different partnership agreements, to identify, refer and integrate out-of-school children into the formal education system, as well as to provide non-formal education alternatives.

As part of the collaboration between AVSI and UNICEF, AVSI is offering special needs services for children enrolled in their centers. In the same scope of work of this activity, and in the aims of identifying vulnerable children with special medical needs, AVSI is offering occupational therapy sessions for the children who are in need of it.
