Dear Sir/ Madam,

Tankamel Sawa, a Lebanese Humanitarian organization supported by arche noVa, a German international humanitarian organization funded by German Corporation, is seeking to engage contractors in the implementation of its coming project (the rehabilitation work for the main reservoirs in Bebnine).

The invitation to tender “AN/ITB/2017/008” documents will provide all relevant bill of quantities, design and drawings, TDS and tender dossier in soft copy ”CD” between 15th and 25th of September during office hours from 9AM until 4 PM at the following address:

The project consists of the rehabilitation work for the main reservoirs in Bebnine that is under the jurisdiction of North Lebanon Water and Wastewater Establishment.

Water supply works include:

The rehabilitation work for the main reservoirs in Bebnine (3 Reservoirs 1000 cubic meters capacity of each one )
This invitation to bid is opened to all Contractors who meet the qualification requirements listed in the Bidding Data Sheet included in the Tender Documents.

It is mandatory to bring in order to get the tender dossier:

1- Classification proof in the first three classes in the Ministry of Energy and Water or the Council for Development and Reconstruction or classification proof in the first two classes in North Lebanon Water Establishment. Only classified companies/establishment will be considered.

2- Company/Establishment stamp

A mandatory site visit will be offered for interested tenderers on 22st of September 2017.The meeting point of the site visit is the above mentioned Office address, meeting time at 9AM.

Bids must be submitted back in sealed envelopes to the above mentioned address before 25th of September 2017, 2PM (Beirut time).

All sealed bids should be labeled AN/ITB LB/2017/01/008and“not to be opened before the tender opening session”written in English

We will not send the tender documents via Email. Please visit us in our office to collect the CD with all the files in soft copy The evaluationof the tenderers will be based on the following: Experience of the tenderer in similar work (list of similar activities), time of the implementation, site visit participation, recommendation letters, company profile, quality of filling out the tender documents, quality of the submittals, etc Financial offers which exceed or underprice the fair market estimated costs will be excluded from further evaluation Offers which exceed or under match our estimated time of implementation will be excluded from the tender. The set deadline for finishing the construction work is 20th of December 2017. Please attach an implementation time plan Please submit the relevant documents mentioned above together with the completed signed and stamped tender dossier More than one pricing option is not acceptable Only tenders submitted in the prescribed form and deadline will be considered. To be qualified for the current Bid, Bidders must meet the following criteria: A Bank certificate for access to liquid assets and/or evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities of not less than 20,000 USD (Twenty Thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent sufficient to meet the construction cash flow for the above contract for a period of 3 (Three) months. The bidder is requested to submit an original bank certificate according to the attached Form. Average Annual Turnover in construction works of average 100,000 USD (One Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent over the past 3 years. General experience of a minimum of 1 year in the construction of public works projects. The Bidder must provide evidence showing the required number of years. Particular experience within the past 3 years in the construction of at least “One Water Supply Project” which includes the construction of water tanks and the installation of pipelines.
