General objectives & tasks:

1- Represent the personnel unit in the center:

  • Work closely and coordinate with the personnel unit in the headquarter on HR administrative matters.
  • Provide payroll information to the personnel unit by collecting time and attendance records, leaves, etc.
  • Grant advance on salary according to arcenciel’s policy.
  • Maintain employee information by recording and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Deliver cash wages to employees while respecting confidentiality and ensuring their signatures on pay slips.
  • Document and keep all personnel records in well organized and maintained files.
  • Ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, rules and regulations inherent in the organization.
  • Promote and communicate the HR procedures within the center and reinforce the appropriate use of the necessary forms center’s staff, e.g. absence leave, advance on salary, etc.

2- Represent the recruitment unit in the center:

  • Work closely and coordinate with the recruitment unit in the headquarter on all recruitment and onboarding matters.
  • Receive recruitment request from unit supervisors and project managers.
  • Communicate needs with recruitment unit in order to start the recruitment procedure.
  • Screen and shortlist potential candidates.
  • Attend first interviews in the presence of the recruitment supervisor and provide an evaluation for each interviewed candidate.
  • Express and state his/her point of view objectively during the selection process.
  • Participate in job fairs organized by universities, technical institutions in the area of work.
  • Conduct the orientation for new comers, escort them in a tour within the center, direct them to their office and ensure their successful integration within arcenciel.
  • Support employees whenever needed.

3- Represent the employee relations unit in the center:

  • Work closely and coordinate with the employee relations unit in the headquarter on all relations and communication with employees matters.
  • Intervene as a mediator whenever needed and in case of any internal conflicts.
  • Receive employees with difficulties and assist them when advices and social assistance are needed.
  • Acknowledge the cases of employees, take all the necessary information and submit the data to the employee relations specialist to monitor social needs.
  • Coordinate with the employee relations specialist when granting social assistance that should be based on a fair distribution of social aids according to preset objective criteria.
  • Communicate continuously with all the supporting godfathers/godmothers.
  • Connect with professionals to benefit from their medical care networks (hospitals, laboratories, dispensaries, pharmacies, etc.), in coordination with the health and social units in the center.

4- Represent the training and development unit in the center:

  • Work closely and coordinate with the training unit supervisor in the headquarter on all training needs matters.
  • Map out the employees’ training needs in coordination with the training and development unit.
  • Assist in the research of training deals within the area of the center.
  • Assist in organizing the logistics for training activities in the center; i.e. reserve training room, necessary equipment and materials (computer equipment, supplies, catering ...).
  • Promote the culture of encouraging the sharing of information among employees, which is based on the concept that knowledge is not irrevocable and should be shared and updated to remain relevant.
  • Assist in the communication and realization of the yearly performance appraisal at the center.

Position Requirements:

Skill set and competencies:

  • General knowledge of Human Resources practices, i.e. recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, etc.
  • Good understanding of the Lebanese Labor law and Social Security law.
  • Understanding of the logic of various HRIS.
  • Know-how to conduct an interview and recruitment procedures.
  • Understanding of difficulty cases and know-how to behave with each case.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • High level of confidentiality and respect of work secrecy.
  • Flexible and committed.
  • Initiative taker and willingness to learn personality.
  • Enjoying working with people attitude.
  • Tactful and diplomatic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and at the same time independently.

Working schedule: Monday till Friday from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm
