General objectives & tasks:

1- Assist and monitor the implementation of AFD project in alliance with arcenciel’s strategy and donor’s requirements:

  • Lead the planning, organization/ facilitation and implementation of the project’s activities at district levels.
  • Ensure responsibilities and timelines are set and respected.
  • Monitor the delivery, handling and utilization of materials on site.
  • Conduct daily field visits.
  • Inspect daily the implementation of activities at each site to ensure adherence to agreed standards and processes.
  • Monitor progress and quality of implementation activities at site level.
  • Ensure that all the health and safety measures of staff are taken.
  • Ensure logistics support to facilitate the implementation of the project.
  • Conduct home visits to targeted beneficiaries.

2- Organize trainings efficiently:

  • Welcome and greet beneficiaries in the center’s premises.
  • Ensure the needs of the attendees are met.
  • Identify and assess the feedback of trainees at the end of each training using different evaluation techniques such as questionnaires, etc.

3- Report all the field activities to the Project Coordinator:

  • Produce weekly/daily progress reports on the implementation activities, contract status and beneficiary participation as required.
  • Ensure project documents are properly filed and kept secure.

  • Report writing skills and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible and committed.
  • Good understanding of cross-cultural issues.
  • Knowledge of rural/community development.

Working schedule: Monday till Friday from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm, when needed Saturday 8:00 am till 1:00 pm.
