Research Intern

The intern is required to assist in conducting research about the material, physical, and legal protection threats faced by Syrian refugees in Lebanon, as well as to participate in the drafting three position papers to support evidence- based advocacy relating to these issues.
Key tasks:
- Contribute to the research, monitoring and documentation of information about refugee protection by supporting the staff in collecting and analyzing information from a wide variety of sources including the government, media, academia, NGOs, security forces and others;
- Assist in drafting and editing the three position papers;
- Deliver outputs in a timely manner;
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Ability to identify, research, analyze and effectively communicate important developments in human rights and refugee protection;
- Ability to produce high-quality written material under tight deadlines;
- Excellent written communication skills in English required. Fluency with speaking, reading and writing in Arabic is strongly preferred.
