The centrality of women’s empowerment to the advancement of development programmers has been recognized and has been reflected in the goals and priorities of organizations and agencies in the United Nations system. In this regard, the Al Mithaq Center for Women endeavors to play a key role in the empowerment of women and girls, with a particular emphasis on operational activities in the city of Baalbeck.
