ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To contribute to the continuous assessment of and search for the needed resources for the achievement of Adyan’s strategic objectives, and the sustainability of its work.
- To identify, build and sustain relations with donors and sponsors.
- To search and study grant opportunities and lead the development of grant applications, in collaboration with the management team and financial department.
- To manage and strengthen the relation with Adyan’s supporters and organize fundraising events.
- To support the management team in entering new areas of work and designing projects according to contextual changes and emerging needs, in coherence with Adyan’s Strategic plan.
- To identify potential partners for projects and application’s design, and assess and manage similar external requests.
- To respond to requests from and organize meetings with new contacts.
- To monitor and evaluate Adyan’s progress in reaching its strategic objectives.
- To assist the projects’ management in setting the evaluation strategy and in reporting.
- To assist the CEO in assessment studies and planning.
- To regularly report to the CEO about the learning process based on the M&E plans.
- To develop the yearly report of the organization and similar strategic communication tools, in collaboration with the management team and the Media department.
- To assist the CEO in organizing related trainings and seminars for Adyan’s team and strategic Networks.
- To manage the participation of Adyan’s community and staff members in external workshops and trainings.
- Master degree in Marketing, International or Public Relations, Development studies or a related field.
- A proven experience of 7 years in this field.
- Professional command of spoken and written English and Arabic; French is a plus.
- Professional command of computer (Word, Excel, Internet communication and navigation, etc.).
- Strong capacity for planning and organization, and to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Creative and strategic thinking.
- Excellent teamwork capacity within an intercultural and international communication framework.
- Personal belief in and support of Adyan’s mission and values.
