Let The Resolution Begin…. Live Gender Equity- Abaad Annual report 2011-2012

Titled “Let The Resolution Begin…. Live Gender Equity”, this resource is the annual report of ABAAD Resource Center for Gender Equity, which lists the accomplishments of the organization for the period between June 2011 and June 2012. The report presents ABAAD’s mission, vision, values, and strategies, focusing on their four main approaches to ending gender discrimination and GBV: policy development and dialogue; capacity development; primary prevention consisting of educating youth about gender equity and deconstructing gender stereotypes at childhood and early adolescence; and engaging men in gender equality programming and ending violence against women and girls. The report also reviews the main projects that ABAAD initiated that year, which follow one of the aforementioned strategies, including campaigns, published resources, and conferences.
