POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Mental Health and Health Quality Coordinator plan, organize and supervise the mental health strategy implemented by Caritas Lebanon (CL) Health department, which includes but not limited to, strategic thinking and coordination; also supervise the implementation of health quality standards in Caritas Lebanon PHCC’s
DUTIES:
- Participate in the proposal writing (design, development, implementation, evaluation) of all mental health projects
- Elaborate a clear comprehensive strategy to merge all mental health components in a holistic health approach lead by the Health Department
- Develop guidelines and SOP’s for the mental health activities
- Plan, organize and supervise the work of the mental health teams through centralized and/or decentralized meetings, and field visits
- Review documentation, rules and programs relevant to the mental health and quality management field of work
- Participate in the development of all mental health prevention and awareness modules
- Collect mental health projects related data from all centers, prepare required reports, and report to the National Mental Health Program on required indicators
- Coordinate with the MEAL Unit to develop mental health tools enabling the reporting on projects indicators
- Elaborate a clear staff-care policy for the health department; promote team building activities, staff-care activities and good morals
- Conduct periodic audits at CL PHCC’s and reports back to the head of health department
- Report to the Health department any indication relevant to employee discipline
- Represent the Health Department in health working groups
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience
- 3 years of organizational experience
- Experience with NGO is a plus, and specifically in the health sector
