About the USAID-Funded Community Support Program (CSP) in Lebanon:

USAID’s Community Support Program (2018 – 2025) is designed to support municipalities and underserved and vulnerable communities in providing better services and enhanced economic opportunities to improve lives and reduce tensions that contribute to conflict and violence, primarily in Lebanon’s North, South, and Beqaa regions.

Description of Intervention:

CSP is seeking one or more organizations to design and deliver technical assistance to Lebanese municipalities/municipal unions, civil society organizations (CSOs), cooperatives (COOPs), and community-based organizations. Entities eligible to apply for funding include CSOs, commercial organizations, COOPs, professional associations, think tanks, research institutes, academic institutions, and individual consultants.

The objective is to improve beneficiaries’ skills in the following areas:

1 Cultural trail and guest house management

2. Management of a marketplace and festival area

3. Market linkages and networking with tour operators and ecotourism organizations
