Procurement of Miscellaneous Irrigation parts, Fertilizers and Pesticides for LARI - Amended 2

1. The Ministry of Agriculture invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Purchase of miscellaneous irrigation parts, pesticides and fertilizers for the Lebanese Agricultural Research Center (LARI).

The maximum duration for the supply and the delivery and commissioning of the Goods is Three (3) months after the signature of the Contract.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in IFAD Project Procurement Guidelines (September 2010).

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents in English by sending an official email (mentioning the bidder name, address, contact person and phone number) to [email protected], Attention: Mr. Elias El Namroud, AgriCAL Procurement Officer. 

4. Bids must be received by the Purchaser at the address specified below, no later than Wednesday 29^th of April 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Beirut local time. Late bids will be rejected

5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the bid submission deadline and must be accompanied by a bid security of US$ 1,500 (One Thousand and Five Hundred United States Dollars) or equivalent in any other foreign currency and valid for 120 days after the bid submission deadline.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder's representatives who choose to attend on Wednesday 29^th of April 2020 at 9:15 a.m. Beirut local time at the address mentioned above.
