Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) to Develop a Documentary film Under UN WOMEN 4 Project

Specific tasks for the Service Provider

The service provider will be required to do the following:

1. Develop the documentary film’s overall concept and scenario
2. Meet with staff for deeper understanding of the SUCCESS of the program
3. Develop the documentary script and storyboard to be used in the film.
4. Interview selected participants for the film and for the human stories
5. Perform appropriate video filming and shoot interviews with the projects’ beneficiaries and stakeholders in all four districts
6. Present a draft documentary (with subtitle in English)
7. Produce one final documentary film

Output /Deliverables

1. Submit a storyboard and script for the documentary for approval before filming
2. Present draft documentary and human stories for comments
3. Produce an edited Video Recording of the scenarios captured, and the footage of the recorded
4. stories.
5. Provide the master file of all the shoots before editing.
6. Present a complete 12-15-minute documentary film version and 90-120 second 5 human stories
7. Present one 2-3 minutes of highlights of documentary film

Required Qualifications and Experience of the Service

1. More than 5years experience working in similar field (30 points).
2. Extensive experience in producing development work related documents for publication and documentaries for national and international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences.
3. Local knowledge of the districts and Sindhi language.
4. Excellent technical capacities (state of the art filming equipment including drone camera preferably High Definition) to ensure smooth and high-quality production.
5. Experienced and qualified team for shooting, editing, audio, mixing, voiceover, graphics etc.
