Expression of Interest for Potential Education Partners

IRC in 2020 is targeting out of school children through tailored and needs-based educational services. IRC would like to additionally expand its commitment to increasing access to quality education for children primarily in the non-formal space in local communities across Lebanon.

IRC is inviting interested applicants to express their interest in a potential partnership for the implementation of an education program targeting Syrian refugee children in Lebanon when funding opportunities arise. Based on the scoring and evaluation of applications and funding opportunities, IRC might engage with selected partners offering sub-grants for specific projects in certain localities. The potential education projects are expected to comprise Formal Education support such as retention support and Non Formal Education community-based activities, including structured Basic Literacy and Numeracy and Youth Literacy and Numeracy classes.

Working in partnership with local and national civil society organizations and government agencies is fundamental to the IRC’s mission to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future. Effective local partnerships enable the IRC to pursue the strategic objectives set out in IRC 2020 Strategy, resulting in more effective, responsive and durable assistance that reaches more people and produces better outcomes.

Under this Invitation, IRC encourages experienced organizations to express their interest in applying for one or more of the components mentioned in the enclosed Expression of Interest Form.
