SEED is a non-profit nongovernmental organization working in Tripoli to support the education sector since 2016.

Since SEED together with People in Need Slovakia are implementing a project financially supported by SlovakAid under the tittle: ‘Education as a pathway to better living conditions for vulnerable children and youth from Lebanese and refugee communities in Tripoli’.

Description: We are looking for suppliers able to supply and deliver snacks on a daily basis.

• Snack will be served for children aged 3 to 10 years old, and are expected to be delivered four days a week one time per day (preferably morning).
• The location in which the snacks should be delivered to is in Tripoli area, Lebanon. The final address will be shared at a later stage.
• The snack should be as healthy as possible and ideally contain a sandwich, a fruit and a juice.

Contract form and value:

• The contract will involve the preparation and delivery of an average of 2560 snacks a months. 
• The estimated contract value per month should not overpass 1300 USD. The expected price per unit snack should be around 0,5 USD. The expected price can however be reviewed considering the quality and content of the item and service provided.
• The contract will bind the parties for a duration of five months renewable.
• The supplier should maintain and guarantee the hygiene and quality of snacks delivered. SEED have the right to accept or not to accept any order upon quality of the snacks and delivery condition and work
• The start date of this service will be September 2019.

• Deadline for application: 5^th of August 2019. Possibility of extension until 18^th of August if no suitable offer. The bid will remain valid until the 18^th of August.

selection criteria and means of assessing the bids:

Applicants will be selected based on their proposal compliance with the Beneficiary’s requirements stated in the section ‘description’ as well as the price per unit. Qualified bids to the second stage will be asked to send the Beneficiary samples of requested item in order to taste the quality of the good and service provided.

The process of selecting the best offer should no longer take more than two weeks of period.
