764501 – WVL | BMZ I Call for Tender I Construction of Local Waste Water Treatment Plant in Qab Elias Bekaa

World Vision is looking for an engineering contracting firm for the construction of a new local waste water treatment plant in the village of Qab Elias under the project “Strengthening the resilience to water, sanitation and hygiene-related diseases among Lebanese host communities and refugees from Syria in the Bekaa valley”  with financial assistance from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The purpose of this announcement is to award a contract with the engineering contracting firm.

The contractor shall execute the project in compliance to the Condition of contracts (Vol 01), technical specifications (Vol 02), bill of quantities (Vol 03) and drawings (Vol 04) received from World Vision Lebanon procurement department.

The project includes but not limited to the following works:

Review of design, engineering, supply, construction, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of 2 x 500 m3 Sewage treatment plant for domestic wastewaters in the Village of Qab Elias Bekaa – Lebanon, including:

• Supply, design, Testing, Erection, Pre Commissioning & commissioning of all STP equipment.

• Submission of process design, hydraulic design calculations, Process flow diagram, Process & Instrumentation diagram, Plant layout & hydraulic flow diagram

• Preparation & submission of shop drawings based on technical specifications for civil, mechanical & electrical works, necessary drawings, backup calculations

• Mobilization of all equipment and machineries

• Installation of all electromechanical items / machineries including all cabling/ wiring (inside) etc

• All machineries, labor, tools & tackles, consumables required for successful completion of project.

Eligible bidders are:

(a)        Lebanese Contractors classified as First Degree Contractor for Water Project with the Ministry of Energy and Water,

(b)        General experience: minimum 10 years’ experience in contracting including the design process of infrastructure, wastewater treatment plant projects.

(c)        Relevant experience in similar assignments during the last ten years; (List and value of implemented projects for the last  10 years in infrastructure, wastewater treatment plant fields, plus client’s contact details who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. A minimum number of two execution contract, over the past 10 years, with one of them has an amount above 1,000,000$ per project related to WWTP.)
