IECD has been operating in the country since 1989 and opened an office in Beirut in 2007. IECD works with its operational partner, the Lebanese association Semeurs d’Avenir created in 2010 to address gaps in the labor market and increase the employability of the most vulnerable youth population. 

All core actions described above are developed in Lebanon, and in 2018 IECD and Semeurs d’Avenir were running 6 projects in all regions of Lebanon. Their combined staff represent 57 collaborators, and an overall budget of 2.7M euros. 

The communication department is in charge of all the information about the association, its visibility and the success of the recruitment of beneficiaries for the trainings. The job is challenging and demands a high level of creativity and interaction with the digital world. 

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Communication manager, the intern will be in charge of (the list is not exhaustive, and may vary depending of the intern current curriculum and experience)

- helping in the management of the social media
- organizing photos, videos and testimonies
- creating new communication tools: videos, designs (…)
- update the website of the association

PROFILE:

Bachelor in Communication, Marketing, Graphic Designer, Medias Management, ...
English (speaking and writing) and Arabic (speaking and writing) are mandatory
The internship is to be fulfilled for the summer. Ideal start date is June.
