Project Officer

The project officer will assist the project Manager in the peacebuilding and youth empowerment activities at its cultural center in Beirut in addition to the related administrative work. This includes preparing and outreaching for workshops and events. The aim of the workshops and events is to create connections between the marginalized areas of Beirut and empower and build the capacity of the youth in the area.  Moreover, the project officer should provide a detailed report for each workshop reflecting on the challenges and outcome of the report, as well as prepare all the monitoring and evaluation related.

The Project Officer will need to supervise and follow up on MARCH cultural space. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Design and coordinate workshops

·         Provide a detailed report for each workshop and event

·         Manage attendance and presence of all attendandees

·         Manage all the logistics for the events

·         Manage outreach and promotion

·         Do the evaluation for each participant

·         Data entry of all data into excel sheets

·         Assist in report writing 

·         Assist the MARCH team in other activities when need arise

University Degree required and previous experience of 2 years minimum in NGO and/or events planning and/or hospitality 

English and Arabic written proficiency are a must
