How to best manage an activity with children

JIBAL is a research and training Lebanese NGO that works for social and environmental justice. Eedama is a UAE-Lebanese social enterprise that does education and awareness to sustainable development for organisations, corporates and schools. Lebanon Support is a research center for and about civil society.

Eedama and Jibal partner regularly to offer fun and educational activities with children related to the environment and sustainable development.

We aim allowing the activities for children (age range 4-16) run problem-free while keeping the learning process fun.

For the new trainers on board, we are organizing a session to introduce the best practices for running children's activities. Salua Moussawel has extensively worked with children throughout her experience working in NGOs and for schools.
She will be discussing with the participants how best to talk to, engage with and create fun activities with children. She will also include the basic first aid measures necessary in an emergency situation.

This training is ideal for members who are newly joining the awareness workforce and/or want to be open to taking on activities that include children. This was originally planned as an internal training, but we decided to open it to any interested individuals.

Fees:
Internal members: no charge
Interested individuals: 5,000 L.L.
