POs will be responsible for detecting, counseling and following up on individual cases of LGBTQIA+ beneficiaries while acting according to the guiding principles of GBV and Child Protection case management protocols. These include a survivor-centered approach, respect of confidentiality, prioritization according to safety concerns, non-discrimination, prioritizing best interests, do no harm, ensuring accountability, respecting professional boundaries and avoiding conflict of interest. 

The role will combine technical support and collaboration in the field in implementation of gender-sensitive community-level protection activities, vulnerability assessment for cash-based interventions, monitoring and evaluation of programme activities, as well as collaboration and coordination among partners, and support to community-based protection activities and advocacy on protection issues.
The officer will ensure liaison and coordination of the partner’s work and link their work with the rest of Oxfam’s protection and cash work in Tripoli, Lebanon.

Case Manager

The International Rescue Committee is an international organization specializing in emergency and humanitarian programming. In response to the influx of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the IRC operates a Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) program implemented in various locations in the Northern and Beka’a Governorates.
