Shelter For Abused Women And Their Children
In view of its commitment towards the elimination of all forms of violence against women, the National YWCA of Lebanon embarked on the challenging task of establishing a much needed shelter for victims of family violence. These are abused and destitute women, single or with their children who need temporary or semi-permanent refuge. They are provided with a shelter until their lives are straightened and they can make it on their own.

To provide a much needed facility for women victims of family violence. The significance of this project is that it allows women to have their children with them at the shelter
الأنشطة:
Destitute women are assisted to end the cycle of violence in their lives for themselves and their families. The shelter offers refuge, counseling and a lasting solution from family or social abuse. Some beneficiaries are enrolled in vocational training programs at YWCA centers and others are assisted to find suitable jobs.
